FREE GROCERY HOME DELIVERY SERVICE
We came up with an idea to help our community during this difficult time. We would like to offer a grocery shopping service for our community in Calgary. This service is for anyone in Calgary who would like to have grocery delivered to them. It is free service. If you are self-quarantine, and you need help with grocery delivery, please let our volunteer coordinator know in advance so that we will make extra precaution when we deliver.
– For those who have been forced to self-isolate due to covid-19 pandemic and have no other sources of income can apply now for Financial support from the province while waiting 2219550 Alberta society will help you with basic grocery. We will assist you on how to apply online via video conference or via remote help desk, feel free to contact us.
-All the information has been translated to three languages so far, Oromo, Ahmaric, and somali (Tigrigna and Swahili are coming soon) and sent to different community Viber and WhatsApp group, we know the information can be overwhelming but to be safe is better than sorry.
